Terms of Service
1. Provider and scope
TODO: Identify the legal entity operating the service and the contractual scope. Cross-reference the Imprint.
2. What the service is — and is not
RAI·Navigator maps regulatory instruments, obligations, evidence and technical options for AI systems. Its output is analytical support for professionals.
It is not legal advice and does not create a lawyer–client relationship. Every conclusion is derived from a knowledge graph with named sources and stated confidence, and remains the responsibility of the professional who uses it.
TODO: Expand the no-advice disclaimer and the professional-responsibility clause with counsel.
3. Membership, verification and standing
Membership is reference-based. Verification status, reviewer standing and charter membership are awarded for contribution only and cannot be purchased, transferred or acquired with credits.
4. Credits
Credits are a unit of processing capacity within the platform. They are not money, not a payment instrument, not e-money, and carry no interest. Purchased credits buy capacity only. Earned credits are personal and non-transferable.
TODO: Specify validity/expiry, whether unused purchased credits are refundable, and the withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht) position for consumers versus businesses. Digital-content withdrawal waiver wording must be reviewed.
5. Payment, prices and VAT
TODO: State prices including or excluding VAT, the payment provider as processor, invoicing, and the reverse-charge treatment for EU business customers.
6. Refunds, chargebacks and negative balances
A refund or a successful chargeback reverses the corresponding credits through a compensating ledger entry. Where the credits have already been spent, the balance may become negative and must be settled before further paid services are used.
7. Acceptable use and community rules
TODO: Contribution licence, moderation, curator decisions, appeal path.
8. Availability, liability and indemnity
TODO: Complete with counsel. Reference the no-advice clause in section 2.
9. Term, termination and data export
TODO: Notice periods, effect on credits, export of portfolio and dossiers.
10. Governing law and venue
TODO: Jurisdiction, consumer-protection carve-outs, dispute resolution.
